Hiring Part-Time Associate – Business Center

What is a Business Center?

We provide a wide array of business services such as shipping, printing, notary public, shredding, scanning, office supplies, and mailbox services. Our mission is to offer helpful friendly services, knowledgeble advise and expert problem solving to individuals and businesses. Our customers are business owners, telecommuters, entrepreneurs, seniors, non-techies, students, newbies and foreigners.  Our job is to be patient, helpful, understanding and find creative ways and solutions.

 

Job Description:

Who we're looking for:

- Independent, with minimal oversight needed
- Customer-friendly and calm under pressure
- Problem solver with a positive vibe
- Spanish or Chinese speaking skill a plus
- Must pass a federal/state background check

 

Responsibilities:

- Assist customers with shipping, mailing, mailboxes and packaging needs for UPS, FedEx, and USPS

- Provide printing, notary public, shredding, and passport photo services

- Offer design, software knowledge, and social media marketing services

- Solve packing and shipping challenges creatively and effectively

- Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for both customers and colleagues

 

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication in English and customer service skills

- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

- Able to type at least 25 words per minute

- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for 4 hours

- Bilingual in Chinese and Spanish is a plus

- Appreciation for art and creativity is beneficial

- All candidates MUST become a notary public. We will pay for your notary training and license, but you must pass a state and federal background check.

SCHEDULE:  Part-Time 8-15 hrs/wk (2-3 days, 4-5 hour shifts), Monday- Friday 9:00am-7:00pm
COMPENSATION:  $20-$22/hr Based on Experience
